Gerald and Jada Edwards--founders of the Edwards Foundation--announced the Darrell Ives Award, which will be awarded each year at the Foundation's Gala event. This award will be presented to the person exemplifying Darrell's spirit of compassion, love, support and passion for the mission of the foundation.<br />Martin and Andy of Depeche Mode were in attendance and announced a trust fund established by the band for Darrell's children Vinnie and Keonna as well as their plans to continue support of the Edwards Foundation in Darrell's memory. Darrell suffered a heart attack while on tour with the Pink Floyd band in Hong Kong.
